Hi all,

I just passed the exam today with 893. However, I'm still unsure if I would failed the exam when I pressed the finish button.

As others, the test is quite annoying as the case-studies questions spreading everwhere during the exam. You need to go through the long descriptions over and over again.

I have *not* draft the whole case-studies stuffs on paper during the exam, and personally I do not recommended it if you are moderate-speed reader. BTW, only less than 1/3 of the information are related to the questions.

I've 55 mins remaining when finished. Maybe my timing is very bad, and I will recommended to devise(and follow) a plan about time allocation before going into the exam(e.g. # of minutes/question, checkpoints at each 20Qs, etc.).

Material used(I have read page by page):
- Sybex(80%)
- DCN(65%)
- CCDA Exam Guide(30%)
- TDND(30%)

Actually I have proof-read all the materials, and I choose Sybex to read more because it is, hmm, less in pages. I must say that the other books are good prepared for the exam.

I used about 50 hours to prepare for the exam, and this is the 3rd toughest exams I've ever encountered.(they are MS SMS and Exchange 5. There's no dump/exam software available as I take it a few days after it go lives.)

Anyway, I wishes all of you good luck, and have a nice day !

Best Wishes,
Wan

Hi Lee,

I will be taking my CCDA exam next week, just wondering how is the exam format like...is it all MCQ questions for all including case studies questions or...? What is the current passing score...755?

BTW, congratulation for passing your exam..

Would appreciate if anyone could clear my doubts...thanks.

Congratulations, nice score. I am scheduled to take the CCDA on Monday. Were the scenarios real long? You mention that you chose not to outline the scenarios and I see that worked out for you. anything you care to add?

Hi Lan,

The exam format is standard to other exams.
If you have try MS IIS4 I guess you should have no problem.

however, you can *not* go back(nor marked) to the answered questions.

The scenarios is annoying, as stated before, I won't recommended you to read and drop all the details.

It will be great to carefully read the questions and answers provided, and then match the answers by proof-reading the exhibit. I guess you will catch my meaning during the exam.

May the force be with thou,
Wan
