Just want to clarify... is the v1.0 has been
retired in favor of v2.0 like this happened
for CCNA ? what is the v2.0 exam number (640-441) ? Does the cisco press preparation library covers v2 or v1 ? and DCN ? top down ? CCDA exam cert guide ?

just want to be shure to buy the right books

thanks

I hope that you're wrong about CCDA ver 2 because I'm almost ready for the exam. I can't book for an exam because of my tight job schedule. Where did you hear the news?

The CCDA has not changed! I have looked at Cisco's site to verify and nothing that I see indicates a change. If you want to check it yourself goto the following link:

Reamer,

Thanks for clarifying! Slight change of scope should not be a problem but no change of scope is even better!

You scared me for a minute!!!

I HAD to go check things out since I plan to do this exam while working on the NP exams.

My understanding is that it has changed. The passing score has changed the amount of questions, the time they give you, you cannot go back and you use to be able to.

The material they cover appears to have remained pretty much the same. But according to this link it is still v 1.0 http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/10...pdf/dcn_004.pdf

As long as the coverage is almost the same, should be no problem.

By the way, what's the NP exam? Information about NP exams would be appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

I was referring to the CCNP exams.
