| I want to do a CCDA. How different is it from CCNA and does anyone know good study stuff to help me through. I am already a CCNA and MCSE. | |
|
| CCNA
More of technical detail and concepts.
CCDA
More towards implementation. For this you should know the stuff of CCNA and more - like the limitations and efficiency of every technology. You should have a systematic way of approaching a real situation (case studies), like documenting existing network along with the policy/politics/business of the customer etc., suggesting the right solution to the customer(for this you should know the list of equipments available from cisco).
In short it is not as interesting as CCNA. I had done my CCNA and now trying to do CCDA. I find it to be very dry compared with CCNA.
For reference you can use DCN from Cisco Press and/or CCDA Exam Certification Guide from Cisco Press. To gather general knowledge about Design get "Top Down Design" book from Cisco Press. |
