Just doing my part

| Hey folks,
Let's get this chat going. I don't know about you but I think obtaining your CCDA is a pretty big accomplishment. This above all others at this level requires you to know your stuff inside and out. I have just passed my CCNA and have started reading the Designing Cisco Networks (DCN) book. What I would like see happen in this forum is instead of curiuos georges asking question like where can I get braindumps or how hard do you think this test is, I'd like us to post case studies and we can all work on them and bang them out together. We can analyize every aspect of the study and I am sure that after we do 15 or so cases we will get the hang of it, know what to look for and master the ccda exam. So comon folks lets go get em'.

| Hi
I find CCDA to be much more than CCNA, which is primiraly towards configuring & troubleshooting. CCDA is more of how to approach, study and plan a new and/or existing network. After going thru some chapters I find that we have to know the stuff very well to do some case studies. I mean more of memorizing.
I mean some level of basic things has to be ready in your mind, then only it is possible to do analysis / design, ie. case studies.
Though I have DCN, CCDA Exam Cert. Guide with me, I finding trouble in starting. Irrespective of my position I would like to actively participate in this forum.
Also note that very little people are interested in doing CCDA. So you may not find this forun as active as CCNA forum. | |

| That's fine, I think we can all help each other to memorize all of the ccda topics. I am currently looking for some case studies to post. If you have one that you can post it would be greatly appreciatted. That is how we will learn, by analyzing the case and disecting it and then re-anaylyzing it. We will all become experts, lets get to it. The road for us to advance in our careers requires us to become experts in something. This is what I want to be an expert in.

| If this forum will get into gear - as the CCNA forum was when I worked on my CCNA, we'll all be better off - the CCNA forum was an excellent resource for me. I lived in the forum day and night.
I'm interested in any exam preparation resources you come across - good or bad - as I want to list them in my directory at http://www.examsites.com.
Good luck and I agree, this forum needs some ACCELERATION!
Good luck to all and let's get it going!
