Author Done CIT recently?

I have been working on CCNP for almost 2 years now.

CIT is my last exam. I am planning on sitting the CIT exam again shortly having sat it a year ago and failed. I can't remember what I scored but I know it was like only 2 or 3 points off.

Anyway what I would like to ask is if anyone has sat the CIT recently and if it follows basically the same format as a year ago or if it has changed. I sat the 642-831 exam so the number hasn't changed.

I had 3 simulation questions which I think I went off on the wrong track on one of them and so blew a lot of time. Can't really remember though. Getting older and busier.

Anyway, whatever advice received will be most appreciated.

Stay safe.

Thanks for all the advice. <-- Friendly sarcasm there.

Anyway I sat and passed it today. I must say that I had some fricking nebulous questions that I had to pluck the answers for. I am not overly proud of that admission but sheez, I would never do half of that stuff on memory and never make a mistake. So what if you don't type the exact command for the exact thing you're working on? I'll realise it should have been something else and enter that.

I guess there has to be some kind of baseline though I suppose, in order for Cisco to gauge knowledge, even if not truly realistic.

Very hard exam. Have to really know your shizzle. I'll probably head down the VoIP track in a year or so, inline with my work requirements.

Just a point of interest, in NZ here the Cisco exams cost NZD240 which is about USD165. Thankfully I don't pay for them personally. Kudos to all you guys here who do.
Good luck with your exams.
Take care.
