| I am wondering how much of this test is devoted to IS-IS. Iam not that familiar with IS-IS and do not know of any shops that use IS-IS. I would think that the test would be geared more towards ospf, eigrp and some bgp. What are your experiences with this test concerning is-is. | |

| Study it as you will be asked 5-7 questions regarding IS-IS and IPV6 | |

| Duno about 5-7, but there certainly were a few questions on the re-cert composite exam as I recollect.

| Took the re-cert today. The test would not load at first so I had to wait 30 minutes for the testing center to get it to load.
I got a 655. Ouch!!! First test I have failed ever. I found out 3 weeks ago that my ccnp expires in about 2 weeks. I think I will let it lapse, I am tired of the cert game. so far certs have not really helped my career.
I got alot of question of bgp. I bet I had 20 on bgp. I also had quite a few on eigrp. There were a few on is-is. There were 4 simulations. I had a hard time trying to figure out what they wanted on 2 of them. i nat sim 2 on ospf and 1 on switching. Alot of trunking and etherchannel type questions.
I used boson test number 1 and was scoring in the 90% range, so do not trust boson tests on this one. I also used the books from the switching class and routing class that I took about 3.5 years ago. |
