| Hi guys,
I'm in stages of starting on ccnp.
can you guys tell me what book you recommend?any decent study materials for ccnp?

| I'd stick with the Cisco Press books. There are at least two for each CCNP exam. If you purchase both you should be able to study for the exams and pass without too much trouble. Good Luck! | |

| I've always been partial to the Sybex books. For the CCNA I only read the book and passed the exam with a 900. Then again, I also had a year of expereince before then. Still, with the BSCI I read the Sybex book, did the labs therein, and reviewed a study guide and scored an 898 on the BSCI. Again, I have a few years of experience, but I am sure it isn't more than what a lot of you have. I actually haven't even worked on a router in a production environment in over a year.
For the CCIE, though, I'm going for the TCP/IP Routing books, volumes I and II. I've heard they are good. | |
