| We've been using some USrobotics modems, and I cant get the modem to remember the settings after I power cycle.. Basically everything works then when I turn it off it forgets, I dot know if its the flash or not but we have two of almost the same type and they both have the problem, I dont know if its a configuration issue, but I did get info from the manufectrurer and it should work but doesnt...
Basically my question is what do you guys use for remote access?? I'll have a modem at each end...

| i use the usr v.everything
left over from an isp i used to work at. \
it has nice dip switches on the bottom that remember what you set them for.
the "light" modem may require you to send at commands everytime you re-initialize it.

| You need 2 of the Cambels soup cans model V.FC 2400. Then you'll need some ieee1284 compliant shoe string between the two and you're all set.
Ya I know, I'm a real big help |
