| Which routing protocol do you like the most?
At the moment, I prefer EIGRP. It's easy to set up, converges almost instantly, only changes are propogated, uses multicast instead of broadcast, uses hello protocol, it's classless and supports VLSM, it uses a composit metric, it supports unequal-cost load balancing, supports a heirarchical design using AS numbers, it supports multiple protocols, and it scales well.

| BGP. It's extremely simple in essence, but you can do pretty much whatever you want with it. | |

| Internal - OSPF. Not proprietary. Works fine, lasts a long time...
External - BGP. Hands down...

| OSPF - Same reason as above. Best option for Hybrid networks. | |

Never, I hope. It has its limitations but it wont hurt you like OSPF.

I have a funny feeling that your opinion will change and you will laugh at yourself for ever making that comment.

| I was not refering to operation. What hurts is what you need to memorise with OSPF to pass the Routing exam. | |

| I love the OSPF! Everything in a network is under your grip and absolutely a designer's choice all the time!! Lot concepts to play around. |
