Hello,

For those who have taken this BSCI exam, I have a concern about the way the questions being asked.

Does the questions tells you to select the number of possible answer i.e. "choose only 2" or the questions simply says "Choose All that Apply"

Anyone who have taken this exam recently, pls drop some hints.

Cheers

I'm pretty sure all Cisco tests use the "choose all that apply" method instead of giving you the number of correct choices. This may not always be the case though.

so far I have taken 3 cisco exams including bsci, i never got a question which says, choose all that apply.

they will clearly specify how many answers you have select.

I hope that I don't have to deal with "choose all that apply" but most certification exams had those kind of question...

BSCI is a difficult exam!!

So far I have noticed there will not be things like "choose all that apply" on cisco exams. Cisco exam question have been clearly marked how many of the answer to select from the answers provided.
Thanks

Is everyone scared of the BSCI exam? It seems like everyone is taking other CCNP exams before this one. I'm not sure if I should just buckle down and go for BSCI first or not. Any thoughts?

Hi,

if you know your subject then any exam is passable, even if it's a little tricky understanding some of the questions.

I took the old BSCN exam a few months before BSCI ame in and I studied for six months before attempting it. I got a reasonable passing score but it was the lowest of the four exams that I took.

Routing is always seen as the hardest one of the four and I think people see the IS-IS part as being hardest of all.

I'm not looking forward to my Re-cert exam later this year simply because of the IS-IS element!

In fact, if I can get a new job before I need to re-cert then I probably won't bother as my next job should be my last!

Peter

Hi,

I'm coming up to my 53rd birthday and another 5 - 6 years with my present employer or any other will see me into semi-retirement where I'll not be touching routers, switches, etc.

If I can swing a new job on my current certs then I may not have to recertify.

Having said that I'm almost finished re-reading my routing book just in case I'm sitting the exam in November!

Regards
Peter

Help needed,
Hi, is there anybody who have just taken their BSCI exams. I am worried about my simulations questions. I want to practice it much cause on the exam I just do not want to wast much time on that trying command. What is the most likely simulations cisco will ask for us to do. Any choice for studying. I am preparing here from boson exam and cisco press book, and it sounds like, it is not a good simulations questions either. If anybody has any idea about could u please tell me.
thanks
Ram
