Hi guys,

I just went to the Cisco website and looked at the Exam topics covered on the 504 and 604 exams and found absolutely no difference. Here are the 2 links:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/10...ms/640-604.html

and

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/10...ms/640-504.html

They are exactly identical. Can anyone tell me what the difference is?

Thanks,

Dave

LOL!!!

I didn't take the 50x series, but I seem to recall that the interactive stuff was enhanced somewhat. Either better sim software, or something along those lines.

Also, they specify of the number of boxes to check on the multiple guess.

As I recall, the older versions left you hanging as to how many of the multiple choice to select, so that you never really knew if you got "all" of the options they thought. Now it won't let you choose more than they state (2, 3, etc) on the question.

If the 640-605 BCRAN was any hint, the 643-series exams will be loaded with the interactive stuff - I had about 10 interactives on that one!

Hi,

I'm currently studing for the 640-604 exam, but I'm being tight and using an old 640-504 book. The 640-504 book only uses the 1900 & 5000 for command examples, but I'm a little worried that the 640-604 exam may be using different switch models ?? Are the exams that much diferent, should I dig dip and get the new book ??

Any (sound) advise will be greatly recieved,

Booky,
