| Hello all,
I need to take the BCMSN at Networkers in 2 weeks and I just noticed that the Cisco Press Exam Cert Guide does not contain specific objectives of the following:
1. Convert CatOS to native IOS & manage native IOS images according to best practices.
2. All 6 "troubleshooting" bullets -
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/10...ms/642-811.html
Now, in looking at Cisco's site, of course one can pour over tons of public/customer domain stuff, as well as piece the troubleshooting from core knowledge from the book, but I was wondering if anyone had seen any specific compilation of material to address these "silent" or "inherent" objectives?

| I think the "convert CatOS to IOS" is (probably) an idle threat, though there was one question where all the answers were set commands (thus CatOS is still being tested, but it seems to be de-emphasized).
There was a lot of troubleshooting though. Not real complicated, but you need to know stuff like port state transitions in STP, link negotiation parameters for PAgP/LACP, what might cause frame problems like FCS errors or giants, etc.
The Cisco Press Exam Cert Guide (Hucaby) covers most of this but the ExamCram book (Richard Deal) is also very good and in some ways more to the point.
