I'm getting ready to schedule the BSCI 642-801 and would like to know if there are any differences between the Prometric or VUE versions of the test?

To the best of my knowledge, Prometric and VUE only proctor the exams and have no effect on exam content. Then again, I've only ever tested with Prometric and never with VUE.

i'd go with Prometric, if you got a choice between the two, but there are some tests i believe only Vue carries. By the way when i sat down for my ccna, for the 1st time, it was with Vue, and the experience was an absolutely NIGHTMARE, because the last problem you need is the testing software not working right(questions would take for ever to load, clicking on your choice answer in a multiple choice question would take approx 7-10 seconds to register, and then the sim questions, oh lord, let me just say i wanted to chop the computer in half with an axe during those q's, cause there was a severe delay between the time i typed in my commands, and when they'd show up on screen), anyhow i called up VUE to let them know of the technicals difficulties that i encountered during the exam, and apparently after a two month "investigation" they came to the conclusion that i wasn't the ONLY one who experienced that same problem, then it took close to another two months to get my refund(got it like 2 weeks ago, i took the test around early February), which tried to talk me out of first.

Anyhow, when i took the ccna a second time, with prometric ofcourse, it was like a cool breeze in late afternoon
summer day, just smooth, i was able to focus just on the q's and passed, got my cert about two weeks later.
