| I just ordered the Cisco Press book for BSCI (I've found their books to be geared best towards the exams.. unlike MS Press with MS tests). Are there any other books or materials worth dumping some cash on for this exam? I managed to get through the last 3 on one good book, but if there is something better out there, I'm all ears. | I only used the Cisco press books for the CIT, BCMSN and BCRAN, however I felt I needed additional material for the BCSI.
I found that the Cisco Press BCSI book did not have a lot of configuration detail.
I purchased the Sybex book, and found that it filled in the gaps.
Since then I have been reading the Jeff Doyle books as part of my CCIE prep. I think you would find these useful for the BCSI.

| Thanks for the advice psimon, I might have to get that. I agree with you, my BCMSN book was all theory and almost no implementation. It was enough to pass, but I felt that I could have been more prepared for the simulations and the book didn't do a good job in that respect. I'll let you know how it works out, good luck with your CCIE!! |
