Boson recommendation?

| I was very happy w/ the Boson software for my CCNA studying. I am preparing for the Switching exam, 642-811, and would like to use Boson again. They have a few different tests available for 642-811. Can anyone recommend one or does ayone have any feedback about Boson for 642-811? | |

| What about the Boson was good? Let me know which tests you find for the CCNP, I'd like to start studying and practicing for that.

| Hey SSaady, i just posted the same question as you did a while back. I noticed that no one has replied. I too am wondering which is best for the switching exam.If you found out anything please let me know.

| twice i have used boson tests and both times i have almost got burned. if it was not for my reading of all different material and viewing different links from cisco and ocomptia i probably would not have passed my exams. stick to the main road and if you can get your hands on some routers then invest. idid and when you have a problem with tham then trouble shoot them that is way better than simulation. i poured over 80.00 dollars into boson tests and they never really helped me. by the way did you know boson offices are located on racetrack road in tampa fla.that is probably where tey do lunch with our money.just a thought.  | |

| diamond_dave34, i am sorry to hear about your burning of Boson. I just used test #3 on the switching by Boson and passed 642-811. I found it to be very helpful. I would also recommend reading the Cisco Press BCMSN certification guide first and then using the practice tests to find your weak spots.What else did you use to study? I have seen friends use just Boson and fail.
The links on the questions are also very good resources.

| I agree with altoscano7. Boson is something you use when you're done with the core material. I used Boson for the CCNP routing exam, but I owe my passing to knowing the official Cisco courseware well rather than the finishing touches that the Boson tests gave me. MM  |
