Hey Folks, I made it through on the second try just in time. My expiration was close, just a few days. I have been in security architecture, firewalls etc mostly for the last year and it showed on my first try two weeks ago. Man I was rusty and really had to brush up. Even with plenty of hands on, I had to get back into the "CiscoCert" frame of mind.

Thanks Demijohn, SmelleyCat, Darthfeces and Reamer for the exam info out here. You were right. This one recerted the NP and DP for me all at once. I could not find that stuff on Cisco's website. Hmmm wonder why?

Looks like its time for a little Cisco Security cert action now that I am all warmed up. Maybe even a Netscreen cert to throw in. This should compliment credits needed for the CISSP recert in a year or so. It never ends.

I recommend Ciscopress, BSCI and BCMSN books, Boson 1 and a remote cave somewhere for a few weeks to pile it all in. I have to plug CCXX Productions as well. Always a good pool to study on and current technologies from them. I like to use a pool of around 700 questions and go over them twice a day for about one week prior. It hurts but helps on the simple ones. Lots of good posts here on exanotes as well, Read em and believe em.

This one is a beast. It is not one test, its really two in one especially the with the stuff you need to be current on. Beware of outdated study materials out there. Get the most current you can.
