I am having problem connecting to one of my Routers Threw Asychn/Modem Line @ 1200bps

I am getting low signal-to-noise ratio as well as problems with frequency offset and phase jitter.... When I try to connect

Do you think I have problem with DS0/Phone Line or Config problem Modem/Aschy Port Problem........

Any Ideas

A few possibilities come to mind:
-- connection isn't quite snug
-- cable is bad
-- electromagnetic interference

are you talking about dialing into the aux port to get into the router or into an async interface to get into the network?

If it is the aux port, set modem to connect at 9600.

if async port then I assume you have something like a 2511 with an octopus cable. Show us the async (or group async) and the line 0 16 portion of your config and let's see what you are doing.
