| congrats, I passed this exam as well yesterday.
For me there were lots of questions on BGP and also quite a few on IS-IS. I also had simulation questions and drag n drop questions along with the normal multiple choice questions. | |

| Passed my Exam 640-901 Yesterday too.
There were a lot of no brainer questions. I had lots of questions on BGP and lots of questions on Route Summarization. Not many on IS-IS (which is good as I never use it in real life).
There were about 4 or 5 simulation and drag & drop questions but these didn't require anything too advanced at all in fact the simulations only really required CCNA level knowledge.
As always there were really nebulous questions which you would have to be insane to know as in the real world, if you needed to know something so nebulous, you would access a reference instead of plucking it out of your memory, and I guess these would be ones that I got incorrect. I got 848.
To study I attended a BSCI course at a training Centre and used the official Cisco references provided by them. Also I have several 2600 routers and a 1720 which I borrowed from work and set up my own practice lab.
