| Passed this dreaded test today (640-605) with a 750, not a lovely score but enough to squeak by. Fate was definitely NOT on my side, since I had two labs, 3 drag and drop and a bunch of AAA questions (which I admit I didnt study much) and the product placment questions were damn tricky....So, a little more focus on those areas would have boosted my score but hey, I'm in the door and I did pass. scheduled CIT today to take in 3 weeks, I'm strong on that stuff so I should not have a problem. I'm taking the older version and finally gonna finish this damn CCNP!!!
p.s. I lucked out passing this one, I hate remote access, it's so dry......... | |

| Well done, jslauer! I just passed BCRAN today, too. Do well on the CIT. | |

| good luck on CIT as well, I like the material on that one better. I guess I didnt do too bad on BCRAN, it's been since May 2001 when I took routing (BSCI), went on a hiatus since then, now starting back up and plan to finish (finally) | |

| Yeah! Congrats to both of you!
Could you help me with this?
I'll do BCRAN 640-605 next week. What kind of practice question is in the exam?

| rafa_lanna,
From my recollection there were 5 product selection questions (access, distribution, and core layers), only a couple of X.25, make sure you remember the term X.121 address. More frame relay than ISDN, I think, and some DDR questions. Know PPP well, especially the differences between PAP and CHAP, and how Multilink PPP works. Async modems were also covered including a few modemcap questions.
No Cisco 700 questions on my exam, thank goodness.
If you're looking for a book recommendation, I can only say that the Cisco Press book is not very good. The typographical, technical and typesetting errors are only surpassed by those in the Cisco Press BCMSN book (which made me want to gouge my eyes out so I could stop looking at it). Ever seen a "Router(config-ig)" prompt. Neither had I until I read this book where it comes up several times. BTW it really means "Router(config-if)".
Even so it was pretty easy, and should be even easier with better study materials.
Good luck. | |

| Congrats to both of you.
Btw, what is the minimum passing score for
BCRAN (640-605)?
And how many questions?
Thanks, | |

| Suresh your a star.
Its great to see someone take an substancial length of time to compile such a quality site, and not ask for money to enter.
I am studing for BCRAN at the mo, and I'm finding your study questions very helpful.
Thanks for your time | |

| Which Cisco Press BCRAN book are you referring to? I have the "Exam Preparation Library" version, and the latest edition published in 2/03. The author is Paquet. I started today and test Oct 18. |
