Dear all,
After failed CIT & BCMSN exam in Jul, finally, passed BCRAN..
great..
The exam is quite easy and straight forward like
1. command "show ppp multilink",
2. some frame-relay congestion control, dlci configuration concept.
3. no router model selection questions

I will plan to re-take the BCMSN and then CIT in Sept.

Hope all of you pass the exam as I find Cisco exam fee is very expensive.

thanks
Cheers
Peter

for me, living in Hong Kong, Cisco exam is very expensive.....
Maybe in other countries, like US, UK, Cisco exam is relative cheaper.

Kinda worried about it, I'm really good on the theory of operation and can configure the stuff. hopefully i can squeak by, I think I have a clue at least what's going on. I'm going to sked CIT that day if I pass, otherwise it's back to the drawing board!

Congrates peter4ccnp. I've been thinking about taking the exams for sometime now. I think i'll have to settle for the new exams starting in sept 7. I hear it has vpn dsl etc. Is it true that once u start the new old exams you have to finish the whole track b4 the 7th of sept, or forfeit the ones you took and passed?

old and new tests from the 505-605 series, you just cant combine the older ones. sept 7th is the last day to schedule the old tests. You can take them up to 45 days after I believe (I'm probably off, but it's more than 30 days I'm sure)

It depends.

Earlier exams such as 640-605 and 640-505 can be combined with the 642- series exams to complete the CCNP certification. Much earlier exams like ACRC 640-201 will not apply after September 1st.

More info is available at the Cisco certifications support site. See http://ciscocert.custhelp.com/cgi-b...fcGFnZT0x&p_li=

Hi TDM99, elsin,

Thank you.
I took the one is 642-xxx.
From my memory, there is no X.25 questions among total 65 questions.
For VPN, DSL questions, I remeber there is a few questions about the concept. However, I hadn't put afford on that new topics - DSL, VPN so that I don't know them.

Hope you pass these too.

Cheers
Peter

Hi peter,
did u say u took the 642-xxx bcran exam? And it was easy? I get panicky about those exams. Were they really easy?

How can we get study materials especially the VPN DSL questions. Can anybody send an attachment of study materials to dinosecure@yahoo.com. I will be very grateful.

Thanks dino
