Hello All,

Looking into Cisco Certification and would like some advise on setting up a home lab. I would like the lab to be up to par for CCNA and CCNP certifications. Could anyone help me out with recommendations on equipment? I currently have 2 2611s (2 Ethernet intefaces 0 serial) and a 1005.

Thanks

CCNA has gone to its new heights with VPN VoIP etc...

Not counting those new stuffs I would say you would need a switch running on latest with IOS version...cheap 2924XL would be available at ebay...look for it. On the router part you got more than what is required.

It would be an overkill to practice VPN for your CCNA, however if you are still interested load the Firewall featuresd IOS on those Routers....2611 would need 16/48 DRAM/Flash for IOS 12.2...

Best of luck!
