| NETSCREEN configuration:
Help! Help! Help! F1! F1! F1!
I am familiarized with netscreen a bit more now.
But not enough to solve the problem i am having:
I have configured 192.x.x.x on interface
ethernet1 which can be seen from 192..x.x.x network
I have configured 213.x.x.x on the interface
ethernet3 which is supposed to access the Internet.
Problem is:
How do i configured ethernet1 (or port 1)
to talk to ethernet3 (or port3 ). I cannot
even ping from the 213.x.x.x, the public
IP which is bound to interface 3.
I believe once I can ping to 213.x.x.x interface,
the 192.x.x.x network will be able to access the internet.
Any help on this will be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

| I think you need to set the ethernet 3 to Untrust first, then the ethernet 1 be trust.
in netscreen 25 u can actually define each ethernet to become either trust, untrust or DMZ. It's all up to you.
Not sure am I correct, you may try. |
