About Catlyst 3550 vlan1 ip address

| Hi,all
A Catlyst 3550-24 SMI switch,I assgin a ip address,for example,199.1.1.1 255.255.255.0,to it's interface vlan1.but when I ping this ip address on this local switch,failed.I want to know why I can't ping this ip address,who can explain this Qs? anyhow,thanks | |
