You're a better man than I. I read the Cisco Press book AND bought and read the Cisco Press Exam Certification Guide twice too. I didn't pass it until the second time.
If the Cisco Press book isn't enough, the Exam Certification Guide is great for practice and giving you the confidence to feel that you will pass it.
As I remember it was the AAA and modem configs that got me. I finally learned it and passed the exam but I still have problems with dialer profiles/groups, etc.
