Hi I need some help on how to set up a VPN on NetScreen 25 using W2Ks as client. I have found a few documents on www.netscreen.com, tried but didn't seem to be working for me. Netscreen support said they don't have specific instruction for W2K/Netscreen25 but folks out there have configured it to work.

Here's my testing environment:
I have 3 Eth Interfaces on Netscreen 25:

E1 (NAT,Trust) is private network. E2
(DMZ,ROUTE)is also private network reserved for
Servers exposing to the Internet. E3 (Untrust,ROUTE)
is interfacing the Internet via a Router.

E1=192.168.20.10 (has two stations so far)
E2=192.168.30.1 (has two stations so far)
E3=66.214.37.37 (using my laptop)

When I tested the VPN configuration, I used the
workstation residing on E3 (supposedly coming from the
outside).

As for Remote Client, I used the Microsoft Built-in
Remote Client BECAUSE my boss doesn't want to use buy
NetScreen Remote Client. It's tough for me now...but
then since I am new to this, i wouldn't know which one
is tougher. It all seems tough to me.

QUESTION:
1)Do you think I have set up a valid testing
environment? If not, how would I do it, otherwise?

2)With regards to PreShared Keys I found under
Proposal 1 and 2, Is that something I just cut and
paste or assign to a user every time i create one?

3)Any suggestions on how I setup Microsof VPN client?
It seems fairly simple but being new, I might have
overlooked something.

I would appreciate any helps or tips at all.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not quite sure how your questions relate to CCNP. You might have better luck posting this to the Microsoft forums.
