hi guys

one of my clients. a call centre wants to implement TDM switching in their AS 5300 Access Server
Someone please tell me what is this, please no links to Cisco site, i read that but couldnt understand, something in PLAIN ENGLISH regarding what it actually does

i run an as5350 at work it is an async/isdn
dialup device. tdm stands for "time division multiplexing" it is inherant in any phonecall.... in that multiple signals or "phone calls" get transmitted and "multiplexed" on the same wire.
i suspect they don't understand what they are asking for.
if this is anything valid it would be a telco issue.
