Passed on 03/08/03. Test had 59 questions.

I read Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting by Laura Chappell. Not specifically geared toward the exam but still covers 75-85% of the material on the exam.

I thought Boson Test 1 was the closest to the test.

Know your ISDN, debug and show commands.

Was there a lot of questions on Routing commands ?
I haven't passed my 901, scared to take the paper.. supposed to take next Wed... Wondering if it's enuff to study from book. My colleague said there were questions on Windows...
Any suggestion?

I passed the BSCI 901 on 3/8. 57 questions, 75 min, passing is 700 (300-1000 scale).

Know IS-IS and BGP - they're about 30% of the test.

Know your VLSM and IP subnetting so you can nail those quickly to save time elsewhere.

The Sim part was very easy - the CCNA troubleshooting sim I had when I re-cert'd in Jan was much more challenging, so don't sweat this sim.

Know the basic rules regarding OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, and RIP (distance vector vs. link-state), plus rules of use (OSPF - all areas must connect to backbone, and inter-area comms must cross area 0).

I won't lie, it was tough, and I hope you do well. Best advice - get a good night sleep the night before.

HI!!!!!!

I took the Support exam today and passed. This was the last test for me to become a CCNP. I found the test to be easy and did't have any questions on appletalk. Now that I finished with my CCNP, I am going to do my CNA, CNE & CCAE.

See Ya!!!!!
