| Firstly I said tamed (755 score, pass 700); not whipped, but hey a pass is a pass.
Secondly thanks to all those guys & gals, who gave freely of their knowledge, 'cause of you all I now have those shinny CCNP letter behind my name.
Anyhows the exam was pretty long 57 ques, 700 pass as I said before.
Lots of ISIS, BGP, OSPF about 10 ques. each.
Review your IGRP & EIGRP, know your route maps, will help.
Only one sim, basic OSPF, backbone area stuff.
Good luck all. On to a deserved vacation.

| I passed today with a similar score. I found it very hard going. I am going to have to put a hell of a lot more work in to get that ccie, if i want it, thats for sure. | |

Absolutely!
I, passed this weekend (790), and thought the troubleshooting sim on the CCNA (I re-cert'd in Jan) was more challenging than this exam's VERY basic OSPF sim.
I was ready for the volume of IS-IS, but suprised at the weight they put on IS-IS and BGP compared to OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, and RIP.
For those planning to take this exam, also be prepared for 4-5 Q's on IP address summarization and VLSM calculations - they didn't forget to include it on my test!
Happy Cert-ing! |
