| Sit it today. 133 questions in 150 minutes. Cannot mark question and review, only keep on click next, cannot go back.
All the paper about bgp, give you scenaries and ask you to select the proper configuration from below. Or give you the configuration and ask you what the configuration do. Route reflector, conferdaration, single home and multi-home, dampening, all kind of shit. The outline tell it all.
Many drag-and-drop questions too, may be about 20 questions.
No simulation question.
In my opinion, BGP is much simpler protocol that other IGP protocol. There are not much to exam. I watch a few VOD from the partner e-learning and do some practice in boson BSCI. I feel I do good in this one. You can read the bgp bible Internet Routing Architecture if you like to and The Ciscopress BGP configuration guide and commands is helpful too.

| Forgive my ignorance, but can anyone explain why would one want to take Beta exam?
Does it mean, if the exam is 'released' you'll get the full-cert ?

I agree... he may be referring to the fact that BGP is fairly straightforward to CONFIGURE iff you know exactly what you're at.

Yeah if you pass the beta exam you get the same credit as if you passed a regular exam.
Beta exams are cheaper, this one costs $50. After the beta period ends, the final version of the exam is released. |
