| Hi all,
is it possible to put a Router2 behind Router1?
I'm trying this because Router1 has a VPN server function, and I would like to NAT this ip to an external IP. Router1 has only one incoming IP, so i must use NAT.
I will open the ports to allow connections.
just wondering if it's possible,

| You can terminate ipsec behind router1 but you have to use NAT, you can't use PAT. | |

| if i use nat, what would i enter into the External IP, my internal network is 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0
i tried it and it created total chaos in the company.

| hi, thanks for the help,
i give up, i can't even put the router online with the existing router without bringing down the system.
so router's speak to routers, with LANs of their own, and a router cannot exist inside a router's LAN, is that correct? |
