Hey guys. How can I print the running-config, or startup-config of a router so that I can have a hardcopy of it? Thanks in advance.

Either cut and paste it from the terminal session or save the file to a TFTP server and print the file out that way.

Every terminal emulation program that I have seen has a logging option.

From Telnet: Terminal, Start Logging, define the file, "show run", Terminal, Stop Logging.

From Hyperterm: Transfer, Capture Text, define the file, "show run", Transfer, Capture Text, Stop.

I would assume that all others have the same options.

What we do at my work is copy and paste to notepad. We do it so often that it is second nature.

what we do at my office is configure the router as a http server, access it, run show config[or whatever show command] and copy paste from the web browser to any word processing program.works well.
