| My CCNA is due to expire the end of Jan. There is a possibility that my work will send me to bootcamp for 2 weeks to get my CCNP certification, but not until March.
What happens if I don't take any exam in Jan......will they let me go to boot camp in March?

| It depends on the Boot Camp. What are the entry requirements? In any case, you will need to pass the CCNA exam(s) again to be certified as CCNP. | |

| I copied the following off of the Cisco site:
Certification candidates are responsible for knowing the date that their certifications will expire. If the recertification requirements are not completed on or before the certification's expiration date, the certification will expire. There is no grace period or time extension for completing the recertification requirements.
Holders of expired certifications must repeat the entire certification exam process in order to regain their certifications.
You need a current CCNA in order to get your CCNP. The good news is that if you pass any one of the 642 level exams before your CCNA expires, it will renew your CCNA.

| Or find any 642 level exam (security or whatever) you can pass and you're fine.
Dependnig on your experience, it might be easier to take a PIX firewall exam, or it might be easier to take the CCNA. Your call. |
