| Got post from Cisco's public forum, any truth to this?
Nov 8, 2003, 11:59pm PST
Greetings,
I am not 100% sure but I do not believe that the 642-801 is passable as the exam itself is BROKE. You will never get Cisco to admit it but I believe from what I have heard from testing centers in 5 states NO ONE HAS PASSED and it is all due to Issues with the SIMULATIONS
If anyone has passed the 642-801 since October 2003 I would like to know.

| 642-801 is the Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks v2.0, the 640-801 is the Introduction to Cisco Networking Technologies (CCNA) Exam.
My post was refering to the 642-801, BSCI.

| One of my team members failed the BSCI exam in late October, primarily because he used the older study material and wasn't prepared for the simulation question concerning NAT. Even having missed the NAT sim question, he came very close to passing. After a week or so of covering the new material included in the exam, he passed the 642-801 exam this week at a VUE testing center in Dublin, Ohio. | |
