I have begun studing for BSCI. I am currently using the old Sybex study guide (640-901). Any advice on if I should wait for the new study guide and purchase it, or use what I have. Thanks in advance.

windham7324,
I don't know what changes have been made on the new test, I took the test in June of this year and the Sybex book covered everything that was on the test. However, I used the Cisco Press books for Remote Access and Support. Sybex books were lacking in these areas.
Best of Luck.

There are a few new chapters in the BSCI that are not in the old books.

You will have to goto the cisco site and find out what you need to know.

One major thing is IS-IS. VLSM and CIDR were moved to CCNA.

Also OSPF and Multi area OSPF will also be on there as usual.

You will still need to know BGP but they moved alot of the information to another cert which is the ISP certification.
