| Ok, I am calling for help from you heavy hitters in this forum! I got my ccna a while back, but now doing a job totally unrelated! I just got tasked to configure a point to point network with 2 1602s. I can get around in the IOS just fine, but would like some direction as to where I can find info, or tips on how to do this! I will be taking this on Monday morning! it is a 64k connection. Both routers are in place, one is remote. We are just changing providers for the line. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

| No heavy hitters needed if you have requested the same provisioning on the new circuit as the old. It should be as simple as moving the T1 cable from the old jack to the new one at both ends.
Hope I read this question correctly....

| You are right Yankee!
And also you might want to add the command "bandwidth 1544" on the interfaces if your routing protocol is something as the EIGRP, OSPF etc...
Forgive me if I have not answered to the question correctly....!

| you do have a WAN card for this router, no?
a 1602 is a 56k line. Wont work with a standard 64k channel.

| Thanks for all the help guys! I have a buddy going over and configuring the router. I think it has a card in it, but haven't seen it. Now I really see the importance of having a lab at home. I have right now a 2610 and 1601 so far, but am just now playing with them. I will let you know how it goes with the router. Again, thanks for all the info!
