| Hey guys do you guys know if the routing test is waived to the BSCI test? I finished CCNP last year and would like to go for CCIP but I would like to know if I need to take the BSCI test or not. If anybody has any information please let me know. Thanks | |

| This is unbelievable.... I mean there is nobody that knows the answer to my question, I guess I will have to give Cisco a call. I guess people here only wants to hear a "I pass" "real test questions" that is when people start replying that they need the questions... This is sad.. Thank you anyway.. | |

| HI -
If I am not too late - this is my understanding of how it works because I too I going for CCIP.
BSCN 640-603 only counts to CCNP
BSCI 640-903 counts to CCIP & CCNP
So this would be nice if you were just starting your CCNP track & planned to do CCIP later.
If you are like me and did routing already, and then decide for CCIP, you must again brush up on those routing fundamentals.
Good luck,,

| I meant BSCI 640-901. ( not 903, like I typed )

| I think what Justin2112 says is right....
bsci counts to both the CCIP and CCNP where as the BSCN counts only to CCNP...I agree....
Tulcingo...you might have to write the BSCI for your CCIP.
You might want to write to cisco.

| Thanks alot guys.. I actually did write to Cisco and was told the same thing. I still think it is not fair for us oldsters to take the BSCI test since we have already taken the routing tests since the only difference between them is the IS-IS. Now I was going over the CCPREP.COM site and asking questions about their material since I used their site to pass CCNP with ease last year. Well if you guys have any info on what material I will need for the test other than the cisco class which I already have please let me know. What do you think about the sybex book? Let me know. Thanks |
