| Are the Boson tests any good for the new Bcran(640-605) or should I wait until STS or Transcender come out with their new tests.

| hello,
I had downloaded the demo's for Boson. It was interesting though I did not buy the updated 600 series. they seemed to be similar to Sybex or Osborne.
I would stick to my guns for Cisco Press books, (not the exams) for actual content for the support and other routing, switching, remote access topics. The 600 series Remote Access exam was fairly generic when it came to study content. you must know isdn, frame, tacacs, review the exam objectives, etc.
I had managed to pass the remote exam in spite of not getting the sim to work, I just got a blank screen.
Know where your dashes appear in the command line (just in case your can't tab over to fill in the blank).
I had posted on this forum my personal study guide for remote including many IOS command lines and definitions a few months back.
MadFacker: Don't wait for anything, I passed remote using the "old " study materials.
However as always use your best judgement.
Good Luck. | |

| Hi,
I was just on testking.com looking at their material. They advertise simulations as part of their BCRAN practice test. Has anyone used them with any success. I agree with using cisco press, but practice has its advantages.
Thanks | |

| Hi,
Just passed my CCNP - Routing paper (before they included IS-IS , the questions from testking.com are remarkably similar to the ones on the test. Though I was not given any simulations (as they send you the questions in adobe acrobar format).
They did include some diagrams, if thats what you call simulations then u r right.
I would really suggest purchasing the questions from testking. Used Cisco Press otherwise.
Hope this helps, best of luck,
Abhi |
