Just want to ask u guys that can i skip ccna and directly go to ccnp certifications.
I have done my ICND from cisco teachers.

No, I'm pretty sure you HAVE to take CCNA and Pass it. You should check www.cisco.com and under certification/training you'll find more info

Nope, you must first take CCNA.

You need to have a CCNA certification in oder to be a CCNP even if the order is not important. I mean that you can also pass all 4 CCNP tests first and CCNA later and receive both certifications.
good luck.

Skip both.....go right for CCIE written, that's allowed for now, but is bound to change.

If you think you are ready for the CCNP exams what's the big deal with just going to take the CCNA exam?

No i was talking about eligibility .
i was asking that isn't it like that only those candidates are eligible for ccnp exams who have passed ccna exam.

remember i m talking about only exam not the whole course cause i have done ICND.

You can skip the CCNA exam if you like and write the CCNP exams but you won't get your certification - you need the CCNA certification to 'allow' you to be certified as a CCNP.

Like ggmis65 said, you can go straight onto the CCNP exams and write the CCNA afterwards (which should be a breeze) and then you'll gain both qualifications. Cisco doesn't see the ICND course alone as being enough - you need to write the exam.

Unfortunately, we all had to go through it!

Good luck!

According to Cisco you need to have CCNA first.
