Exam Passmark

Question
Why doesn't Cisco publish scores?

Answer
Cisco does not publish exam passing scores because exam questions and passing scores are subject to change without notice. After completing an exam, candidates receive an individualized score report including a score breakout by exam section for pinpointing areas of strength and weakness.

all I can say is aim for 800+ as I don't remmeber them myself. but when it really come down to it, since you can't mark and go back, there is really no point in knowing because you can't play the percentages... and it will prolly just cause you stress during the exam to worry about whether you have done adequate so far etc...

I just passed the CCNA test and am now preparing for the CCNP exam suite. I used the CCNA 849 pass mark as a simple guide as I use many tools at my disposal for guides (texts, notes, online prep test, etc.) If I don't know the actual passing grades it is no big deal as I know what to shoot for - that is know the material well. As I said I am just gathering basic info like the above and recommended materials, etc.

Route on dudes.
