| Hello group
This is a basic query.I just want to know if there is something known as ISDN leased line?How different is this from ISDN dialup?

| I almost jumped in with both feet and said no, only dial up!
Try doing a search for ISDN leased line on CCO.
Basically an ISDN leased line is a nailed up cct between two points using a BRI channel (either 1 or 2). It's synchronous and doesn#t use the D channel. I've never seen it and before today hadn't heard of it. I'm not sure on the config as it doesn't appear to have any dialer profiles setup telling it who to call.
ISDN dial up makes calls as and when required.
