Does anybody know a link that can explain route summarazation to me? It's my first time seeing or hearing of it and I'm quite confused....

hmmmm... which book are you using? I seem to recall it covered well in books.

some of the links may not appear obvious but should give you an idea of its usage...

technically...its just writing all the ip in binary and count the common bits and use that as the ip advertised. other term is supernetting, route aggregation etc... try various searches google cisco etc.
