Is it "delete nvram"?

I have no idea, as I was asking a question not posing one! I just want to reset the switch so that I can configure the 2900 from scratch again.

Well, I do have an idea and it is what I said it was. And you are welcome!

If you have anything you want to refer to obtain a copy because the following will clear everything out.

for a ios based switch - 2900XL and 3500 XL series use:

Switch#write erase

" It will responsed with - -"
Erasing the nvram filesystem will remove all files! Continue? [confirm]

"Hit enter to confirm"

Erase of nvram: complete

Then once this is done, proceed with a reload command at the enable prompt.

Switch#reload
Proceed with reload? [confirm]

"Press Enter and switch will reboot"
