| Just passed with 727. Was this a hard exam or what! Got drilled with BGP questions, apprx 50% of all questions and a mix of ospf and eigrp.
For those who take this exam, know the CISCO press books inside out, understand the concepts and......good luck!
Phew! Now onto Switching.....after I take a well deserved weekend break...and most importantly, switch-off! | |

| Congratulations!
Were you registred for this exam before they announced they new exams (640-60x)? Or were you able to register for this after June 5th?
My concern is that I was planning to take 640-503 in a few weeks but I don't know if I will be able to register to the former version or I will have to sit for the new version.
Thanks! | |

Thanks...
I am aware that they have changed the format for the 64-60* exam but as for the 64-503, I don't believe it has changed. Maybe some one else on the forum could clarify this?
I registered/booked for the exam via www.vue.com. Not sure what you mean by former and new registration types???
Hasta pronto | |

| My dear the exam format has changed, although the scope of the exam is still the same thing.
The former 640-503 is now 640-603, and the basic difference is the simulation questions that were added.
If the exam u did has no simulation question, it means ur questions have been loaded before the change was made.
Congrats once more. | |

| Thanks for the clarification.
Indeed I must have recd the old format as no simulations were in the exam. No doubt, I shall face them in the next exam.

| yea u ll face them in ur next paper.
Nevertheless, u can combine ur 503 with any of the 603. I mean just continue with ur exams, the 503 certificates u've got can be combined with the other 603 u've not written.
I wish u all the best in all ur remaining exams. |
