| Javed,
Are you scared of the simulation questions?
There's no need to be if you have practiced with Remote Access labs.
If others have gone through it and passed why wouldn't you? This is why I don't think you need to know how many simulation questions someone got. The fact is if someone gets 10 simulations, does that mean you will get 10?
This is why I think if you study and practice the labs, you will surely make it. Maybe if you are just curious about the simulations, just go to the Cisco site and you will be able to play with simulations and get the feel for them.

Don't be scared, don't be concerned, don't worry at all because you can do it.
So Good Luck!!! Everyone on this forum is waiting to hear the results when you are done.
Once again Good Luck!!!!!

| Goodluck javed.
The simulation questions take only 300 points out of the total 1000 points.

Can anyone recommend any decent practice software, whether free or not, to practice for these new simulated type of questions?
Thanks | |

| rent an isdn lab. you can get rack time on these anywhere from $15-50 for a decent rack or 50+ for a reallyi advance lab.
check on ebay etc. prepare your lab exercises, you can do alot in 24 hours if you are prepare and don't waste time on the rack.

| Hi,
try the one shipped free with the sybex book. It has got some 7 lab scenarios and simulations. It is the best sim I ever seen.
Best of luck! | |

| maybe we're not talking about the same sybex sim. cause i bought the book and sim and must say it's basic. it's great for CCNA, but doesn't have all of the commands that a router has. i bought a 2501 router for $150 more than the cost of the simulator and the router has much more practicality. personally, for the cost of the sim i feel that dollar for dollar the remote labs will give you 10x more practice and insight, IF you prepare for those days with a plan of every thing you want to check out and perform in advance. if you planned 100 scenarios, imagine how much you could do in 2 days on a remote lab. the sim is very basic, but a good start if you have absolutely no experience. just my 2 cents. | |
