Caution with the new 600 level exams

| Passed my last CCNP test, Remote Access 605, today.
At question number nn the computer stopped and told me it only had 64 M and needed 128 M.
The testing company needed to down the computer and put me on another one that had sufficient memory.
If you are taking one of the new tests ask if the computer has had its mem upgraded.
Good Luck All

| So on the new computer with 128MHz of RAM, did you just continue where you left off or you had to start all over? | |

| It took VUE about 10 minutes to get things straightened out. Once several calls to the home office I was able to take off where I left off, I think.
As I was going on I kept a running tallie, for MY own purposes, of the types of questions asked. Up to this point I had questions on the product line, modem communications, Cisco Product line, AAA, when the computer froze on an AAA question.
When I received my score
Selecting Cisco Product... 33%
Config Asynch ............ 33%
Using AAA to scale Acces . 33%
Passing was 706 / 53 questions.
Total score was a PASSING but miserable 750.
So I am not sure if the scores were retained or not.
My brain says so what. My ego, which is considerable, says... something else.
My sim was a frame. Reminder, this is NOT a routing exam. This is as far as I am willing to go. If you've configured them then it should be easy enough.
Best of Luck to you all. | |

| Thanks for the head's up!
...and a pass is a pass! Good job! | |

| As Ciscoteacher said, a pass is a pass. So I think you should be proud of yourself and give yourself a pat on the back. Especially PASSING, despite the computer problems you had, I would just CONGRATULATE you for a job well done. My point is you made it, even though you went through that big computer problem mess, which interrupted your focus, concentration, chain of thoughts,.... I mean very few people could have passed with these kind of interruptions.
The bottomline is you've passed this test.
"My sim was a frame"
Are you referring to Frame Relay?
Once again, WELL DONE. | |

| Frame??
i guess i will take that as a frame relay too. Thanks suluki. I will be taking mine in a week. Thank God i got routing and switching out ot the way and it is nice to get ccnp 3.0 instead of 2.0( more time on my hand before the recert)
appreciated for the info Rob.
take care yall and God-speed.
