Cisco has a preview of the new sims available on their site.

This will allow you a preview of the sim.
Remember only the routing and remote access tests have the sims in them. Switching and Support only have refreshed databases.

Schedule to take remote soon I'll follow up.

Good news is that there is alot of basic commands in them.

The sybex software lab will stop you from connecting two interfaces if you do not have the clock rate on the dce side. So this looks like a good alternative prep if you do not have the right equipment. No I don't work for Sybex.

Sims look very do - able. Just remember items like

They state that sho config and sh conf are acceptable but if you mistype a character like sho conf" then it would be marked wrong.

Who has feedback on the write mem command? My guess they are going to want the copy running-config startup-config command. My guess is it would be wrong on the test.

Good luck ...We can do this.

I'm banking on copy running-config startup-config!

Hi yanoaaa,

---------------------------------------------
They state that sho config and sh conf are acceptable but if you mistype a character like sho conf" then it would be marked wrong.
--------------------------------------------

Thanks for the above info, However it is a good practise, if you type the whole command. This is my opinion for a beginner, and not to take any chances. When you are really in to it, then short statements are fun to work with.

Planning for 603 soon. Suggestions from new 603 attendees are anticipated with thanks.
