got 919 on CIT ( 640-506) today, and that was my last test for CCNP.

For CIT, I just read the first 7 chapters of Cisco support exam guide. The last 4 chapters is about switching and remote access, the are covered in 504 and 505 already. It's fairly straight test.

Now move on to CCDA and CID.

Congrats to u all, am so happy for u guys.

BUt u do not really have to write ur CCDA before sitting for ur CID. In as much as u've got ur CCNP (4 papers) then u are required to sit for only CID for ur CCDP certification.

Congrats once more

To achieve the Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) certification you must have already completed the CCNA and the CCDA certifications, signed the most current version of the Certification Agreement and passed all required CCDP exams. Depending on your examination preference you may take either of the following three examination paths

jwu2,

Any idea on how much the simulation counts on the new format. Thinking that I have the CIT scheduled for the old test and am not sure how the new sim is for the remote test.

Any ideas?

Yes you do need CCDA before the CCDP. I heard you can actually take CID first , but it won't count till you take the CCDA. I passed the CCDA yesterday, it's not a challenge, just need to know those design documentation and be familar the case study.

Bill, nope I have no idea about the new simulation part of 605. I guess you will need to know basic configuration like how to configure ISDN BRI/PRI, Frame relay point to point , point to multipoint, map statement, ppp pap, chap, etc. It should be ok since you have ton of experience on routers

For CIT, be sure read through first 5 chapters of exam guide. only 180 pages, but it will cover most of questions you need to know. If you are solid on 5000 switches, VLAN, Fram relay and ISDN, the last 4 chapters is not that necessary to read through. Test will cover basic stuff on Novell and Apple talk, I mean very basic stuff. Of course I am talking about 506, not 606.

This forum has helped me a lot, thanks all
