I posted earlier but have some updated information.
I have one of 7 routers in the school district that I want to change the subnet mask and network address on to add more hosts. Below is a copy of the High School read out. My question is, I know that I can change the 172.16.30.0/24 to 172.16.8.0/21, I also could do the same but different network addresses to the other routers ethernet interface. Would I also change the BRI interfaces? and why do some of the BRI interfaces have 3 subnets on them with 2 different masks? i.e. BRI1/7
172.16.3.0/24 & 172.16.3.2/32.
Will I have to change those addresses too to accomodate my upgrade?

Gateway of last resort is 172.16.30.7 to network 0.0.0.0

172.16.0.0/16 is variably subnetted, 16 subnets, 2 masks

C 172.16.5.0/24 is directly connected, BRI1/4
C 172.16.6.0/24 is directly connected, BRI1/5

C 172.16.1.2/32 is directly connected, BRI1/0
C 172.16.3.0/24 is directly connected, BRI1/7

Although not completely sure what you are asking or trying to do, I will try and briefly explain your routing table using one of the BRI's.

C 172.16.3.0/24 is directly connected,BRI1/7
This is the directly connected network that this interface is part of learned from the mask of the ip address of the interface.

C 172.16.3.2/32 is directly connected,BRI1/7
This is the ip address of the directly connected interface to BRI1/7 or the other side.

R 172.16.60.0/24 [120/1] via 172.16.3.2, 00:00:03, BRI1/7
This is a route learned via Rip from BRI1/7 this came from the other side of the BRI1/7 connection somewhere.

Hope this helps a little.
