hello,

congratulations!

The recommended track is to take 503 routing first, followed by 504 switching, 505 remote access and finally 506 troubleshooting.

This way you're doing the hardest one first and you'll find that later exams use some of the topics and general principles from the first one.

If you need to spend a few months on routing (I took six months or so) then at least you'll know that everything else after that is a doddle.

Peter

you also could try 504 first, since it is eaier than 503

my personal opinion is to take switching first. A good understanding of layer 2 will help later on.

Against my own advice, though, I took the routing first. And the 2.0 tests had just come out so there were no "updated" books out yet. I'm still not sure how I passed after 2 months of studying nothing but white papers from cisco.com, but I did. And yes it was the hardest test. Everything else was cake.
