| Thanks for all the help guys. I passed with 729. 77q/90min/703. I was done in about 45min. I used Cisco Press, Sybex CCNP Exam Notes and Boson test software(tests 1-3). I have been studying on and off since November last year, would have been done quicker if I hadn't had to move and gotten sick. I have to say this has been the easiest of the three I have taken, BCSN, BCMSN and BCRAN. I was hit pretty hard on Frame Relay, ISDN, DDR, pick the right router and commands. Nothing too deep or detailed, just basic knowledge. I had around 25 command questions, look at the list - type in the command. Except for 2, they were all gimmies, just be familiar with the command syntax and be very careful typing in the command. I checked each spelling very carefully before hitting "next". Know your reference points, 1600 routers and 3640 routers. | |

| Sorry, it has been too many months since I took routing. I can't remember anything about the test. I can tell you that I used only the Cisco Press book and Boson practice tests. If it is like the BCRAN the questions will be straight forward and written in plain language. The CCNA I took in 2000 was very confusing because of the way the questions were worded. | |

| Hi All,
Just wanna know with regards to BCRAN or other CCNP tests, is Cisco still uses the approach of " Choose 3 Best answers" ? or you simply have to select all best answers. The first one is easier because you have a clue on how many are the correct answers. | |

| On the BCRAN I had, all the questions only had one answer and the command questions had a drop down list to choose from. | |

| Congratulations. I just passed my BCRAN also. That was the last one for me. Good luck on the CIT. I think it was the easiest. It was just a rehashing of the troubleshooting techniques from the other three tests. Cisco did throw in AppleTalk, Novell, and token ring troubleshooting though. Good luck on your last test.
For AndyC, the routing exam covers a lot of BGP and OSPF know those two inside and out. And also know how to do route redistribution with OSPF, EIGRP and BGP. There were a few questions on IP aggregation but that was the easiest subject. Your best bet is to get a copy of the Cisco Press Routing book. |
